Why Attend Vision Elite Camps?

  • VISION provides some of the best technical training in Manitoba.
  • Positional training will also be included.
  • Great way to meet VISION coaches and VISION athletes before tryouts.
  • Camp t-shirt.

Many Winnipeg-area athletes at university programs across North America can trace their volleyball roots to a VISION Elite Club program and the training provided by its excellent coaching staff.

Simply stated, no other club program in Winnipeg has produced as many university bound athletes as VISION Elite.

The objective of the camp is to introduce young athletes to the training techniques that will allow them to reach the next level while introducing them to the fitness expectation of university coaches.

You will maximize your learning in every aspect of the sport under the guidance of some of Manitoba’s top coaches. This is an intense, high-repetition program that will challenge all participants.

If you are an experienced club athlete looking for a challenging, educational and competitive environment this is the camp for you. As an advanced athlete, you must have at least 2 years of club volleyball experience, be proficient in all the skills and have an in-depth grasp of the game.

If your goal is to play at the college or university level this is where you need to be.

VISION Elite Volleyball Camps

VISION Elite camps are designed for female athletes in grades 9-10 who are pursuing club volleyball. Elite camps limit the amount of participants to a max. of 16 athletes per court. Each court will have a minimum of two coaches. The coach-athlete ratio is therefore at least one coach for every 8 athletes.

The nature of the drills at the VISION Elite camp also changes with more contacts and coach attention for every athlete. Those interested in participating should understand that they must already have a strong background in the sport before attending. The focus of the camp is to fine-tune skills, not establish fundamentals.

All camps are overseen by the VISION Head Coach and assisted by fully-certified VISION Elite club coaches.

ELITE CAMPS are two-hour sessions held over an eight-week period. Our next session is in the fall. These are high intensity, fast-paced camps with a low-player to coach ratio. Camps are also age specific to allow athletes the opportunity to train with others their own age. Participating groups may also be separated into two distinct groups to allow for athletes to participate with others of their own calibre.

Everyone participates in skill development drills and competitive games. These are high-repetition sessions designed to get your game to the next level. These sessions will give you the reps needed to start the school season ahead of the competition.
