The VISION/WARRIORS Youth Academy Volleyball program is offered to girls & boys in grades 3-6. It is a weekly camp with an instructor where all skills are introduced in a modified format to allow athletes the success they require to excel at the sport.

Please note that part of our program goals is to encourage parents to take on coaching so the instructor is asked to encourage parent participation, so feel free to bring your indoor shoes and get ready to toss and throw some balls.

Private and small group lessons are available to boys and girls from 13-17 years of age. They are available year-round with. number of our VISION Elite and WARRIORS Volleyball Club coaches.

These start with an evaluation of the athlete(s) technical proficiency and will look to introduce the athlete to exercises they can perform at home to develop strong fundamentals. 

Camps are held at local community centres with the athlete paying for the facility rental and coach's honorarium. With that, we would suggest athletes interested in personal coaching consider organizing into small groups of 3-4. Doing so will be far more affordable, but also more fun for participants. 

These camps will deliver some of the best technical training available in the province and participating athletes will develop a better understanding of the technical requirements of the sport and their deserted position.

Athletes interested in personal lessons will be required to pre-purchase a minimum of four sessions and these can be held over a two-week or four-week schedule.

FAMILY DISCOUNT
If you are registering more than one child for this program you are entitled to a 25% discount on additional children. The discount is automatic; however, all must be registered at the same time in order for the system to recognize the family registration.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE
Registration is ongoing until the camp is full. Registration is on a first-come basis. 

SPACE LIMITED
Each camp will be limited to a maximum of 20 participants on a first-come basis.

REFUNDS
If you withdraw your child prior to the start of the first scheduled session, a full refund will be provided. Anyone requesting a refund after the start of camp will be provided with a credit to be used for any Volleyball Winnipeg program.

With more than 20 years in training children of this age, VISION Elite has developed unique training techniques to introduce young athletes to the skills required to excel in the sport. 

All camps are overseen by a VISION Head Coach and assisted by fully certified VISION Elite club coaches. Camps are designed for the beginner looking for an "All-Skills Camp". Every drill incorporates games so young athletes maintain their interest in the exercises.  

Everyone participates in skill development drills and competitive games. 

In brief, we strongly believe our camps offer the best technical instruction in the province. These are high intensity, fast-paced camps with certified club volleyball coaches.

Camps are conducted by experienced VISION Elite and WARRIORS Volleyball Club instructors. This is an excellent opportunity for athletes considering club volleyball to come out and meet our coaching staff and other athletes also interested in pursuing club volleyball. Come out and see for yourself why VISION Elite is the very best place in Winnipeg for technical training. 

VISION Elite Volleyball Club, WARRIORS Volleyball Club and VISION Volleyball Club are part of the Volleyball Winnipeg High Performance Program. Teams represent our club at Provincial and National Championships. Try outs are held in early December and the Club Volleyball season runs from December until May with Nationals being held at a variety of locations based on individual age class. 

EVERY TRAINING SESSION CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING
1.    Warm-up Games: Designed to ensure athletes get to meet each other in an inviting and competitive environment
2.    Skill Development: Drills with a focus on high-repetition and technical correction
3.    Team Play: Every training session concludes with a series of team drills designed to teach participants about the game’s systems of play

CAMP PHILOSOPHY
•    Attendance will be taken at the beginning of each session. Please e-mail us if your daughter cannot attend
•    Please arrive early - preferably 5‐10 min. early
•    Dress like a volleyball player – wear the correct shoes, shorts and a comfortable t-shirt
•    Our top priority is to help each athlete improve, regardless of their initial skill level
•    Instructors are expected to treat every athlete equally with encouragement – while creating a positive environment for everyone
•    The focus is on delivering results through high-repetition drills 
•    Provide plenty of water breaks/snack breaks as needed
•    We encourage all athletes to let coaches know if there are any issues during camp
